How do I reserve my classes for the week? 
Login to with your email and password, then click on the "Reservations" link. Next, click on "+Reserve Class Times." Click on the class that you would like to attend.  Once you are redirected to the reservation page, first make sure that the dropdown menu shows the correct family member who will be attending the class, and then click the "Reserve" button on the right hand side of the screen.  

We recommend reserving your spot in classes via the Member Connect website since they are capped between 16-24 students.  The easiest way to manage your reservations is through the ZenPlanner mobile app, which is free and available by clicking here.  If the class is full, the Waitlist is a great option. Generally, at least 1 or 2 people end up having to cancel their reservation because something came up, and you will get an email saying you've been moved to the "Reserved" list. 

We prohibit cancellations of reservations within 12 hours of the class start time to allow others who wish to train the opportunity to sign up if there's a spot available.  Everyone has 5 "freebies" for no-shows in class, otherwise each no-show for class will incur a $10 penalty. You may also email if you find someone else who would like to take your reservation.  We have a Message Board on Facebook that students can use to swap spots in class when needed.  

If you need to use one of these "freebies," be sure to send an email to before the start time of class with the subject line "Freebie" explaining that you will need to cancel your reservation & that you would like to use one of your "freebies," and we will remove the $10 penalty. 

What if I don't remember or never received my password for the member connect site? 
Click the "Forgot Your Password?" link, enter the email address that you provided us when you enrolled, and click the "Send Email Now" button.  You should receive an email within the next few minutes.  If you do not receive a password reset email within 24 hours, first check your Spam folder or All Mail folder to see if it ended up in there.  If you can't find any email from us, please email us at to let us know, and we will sort it out with the database administrator. 


How do I sign up for special events, such as tests, seminars, or private lessons? 
Rank Events
To be eligible to test into the next Section, you must be at the highest belt level of your current section and have attended at the minimum number of classes to earn your next rank. 

In order to register for the Rank Event (adults & teens), you will need to complete the requisite classes on your Ranking Checklist Card and get your Permission to Test form signed by Jason or Katie Fryer (forms are available at the front desk). Once these are complete, bring your signed Permission to Test form to the front desk and provide payment for registration. You can charge the full price of the ranking event ($59.99) to your account, or you can pay with a Punch Pass (2 Punches). Your complete registration is due 1 week before the test date. In order to be eligible for the Krav Junior Belt Test, your child must have received a stripe for each of the SKILLZ that s/he will be tested on. At the end of each 6-week curricular unit, students will have the opportunity to earn many of their stripes. To register your child for his/her belt test, fill out and return one of the Permission to Test forms, which are available at the front desk. The cost of the test is $30, which you can charge to your account or can pay with a Punch Pass (1 Punch) for a $5 discount. Your complete registration is due 48 hours before the test date. 

There are several ways to register for a seminar. You may send an email to requesting to be registered, you may register at the link provided on the event page on our website, or you may ask whoever is working at the Front Desk to register you.  If you do not present your Punch Pass as payment before the day of the event, you will be charged full price ($59.99).  

Private Lessons
Private Lessons are to be scheduled online only and not with the instructors directly.  You can find the link on our homepage in the "Schedule" dropdown menu.  When you get to the "Schedule Private Training" page, use the dropdown menu on the right-hand side of the page to choose the instructor with whom you'd like to schedule your lesson.  Then, click on the time that you'd like to schedule your lesson and then LOGIN!!  If you do not login, you will only be given the option of paying full price.  Once you login, you can choose your payment option.  If you would like to pay with a Punch Pass, select your existing membership under the "Payment Method" dropdown menu and type "Punch Pass" in the "Add a Note" section.  If you are paying full price for your private lesson, select the Drop-In Rate in the "Payment Method" dropdown menu.  
Once your private lesson is scheduled, your instructor will receive an email confirmation with the details.  If for some reason your instructor needs to reschedule, s/he will contact you directly.  

Event Refund Policy
You may cancel any event registration or private lesson that you have paid for in full with a 100% refund up to 7 days prior to the start date of that event or private lesson if you provide your cancellation and request for a refund in writing to within that time frame. 

You may receive a 50% refund for cancellations for any event or private lesson that are paid for in full if you cancel and request a refund in writing 48 hours in advance of that event or private lesson's start time.  We do not accept cancellations or provide refunds or credits within 48 hours to the start date of the event or private lesson.

The standard method for an event or private lesson refund is a credit to your Lions Krav Maga account. If you prefer to have the fees refunded to you directly, you must request this in writing to

In the case of deposits paid for special events, that deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of the event fee follows the same policy as that which is stated above. 

How do Punch Passes work? 
Each Punch Pass includes 3 Punches and costs $75.00.  Special events such as Rank Examinations, Seminars, or Private Lessons can be paid for using Punches to get a discounted price: 
  • Adult / Teen Rank Events - $59.99 or 2 Punches
  • Krav Junior Rank Examination - $30.00 or 1 Punch
  • 3-hour Seminar - $59.99 or 2 Punches
  • 1-hour Adult Private Lesson - $60.00 or 2 Punches / $80.00 or 3 Punches (pricing depends on instructor)
  • 30-minute Krav Junior Private Lesson - $30.00 or 1 Punch
When you purchase multiple Punch Passes, you will get a discount:

How do I freeze my membership?
The freeze policy allows you to temporarily suspend your membership in accordance with the following terms:
You may freeze your membership once per contractual term for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three (3) consecutive months in one-month increments for a fee of $10 per month, payable in advance. The remaining time on your membership and the associated tuition bills will be pushed out to begin again after the freeze period is over. Any tuition bills that would have been due during the freeze period will be held until the membership resumes after the freeze period is over. Any tuition bills that are due before the start of the freeze period will still be due on schedule. 

To freeze your membership, fill out the Membership Adjustment Form at the front desk or send an email to at least 48 hours before the start of your hold term.  We will provide you with an email confirmation of your hold within 48 hours of your request. 

Hold for medical reasons
If a doctor orders you to not engage in rigorous physical activity due to pregnancy, an injury, or illness, you may provide Lions Krav Maga with written documentation from your doctor and we will waive the hold fee and hold term limits. 

Hold for work, school, or military travel
If you are on military deployment or are required to travel for work or school, you may provide Lions Krav Maga written documentation of these requirements to have the hold fee and hold term limits waived.

What is the cancellation policy? 
Most of the Lions Krav Maga memberships run on a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month term.  On the first day of the final month of your initial contract term, the membership automatically renews on 3-month terms. In order to prevent this automatic renewal, we must receive a written notice of non-renewal either in person at Lions Krav Maga or via email to at least 30 days prior to the last date of your contract term.  If we have not received a written request for non-renewal from you by that time, the automatic renewal will place an additional 3 months at the tuition rate of the 3-month Unlimited Membership. This process will continue unless we receive a written request from you to either cancel the renewals or upgrade to a 6-month or 12-month membership at a reduced tuition rate. Once you have sent your written request, you should receive an email confirmation of your cancellation within 48 hours. If you do not receive your confirmation, please send us another email or text us at (512) 588-3356 to confirm that we received your notice. We do not automatically cancel memberships due to lack of use. 

What if I send in my cancellation notice late? 
We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and not everyone can make every deadline every time. Therefore, we will only extend your full-price membership for one more month. The fee for breaking your contract will only be 20% of the remaining cancelled bills. 

In what circumstances can I get out of my contract? 
Permanent Relocation / Military Deployment - If the member is deployed in the military or moves their residence over 30 miles away from a Lions Krav Maga facility, s/he has the right to terminate his/her contract by providing 30-days notice of cancellation in addition to written verification of the deployment or move to Once that information is provided, the membership will be terminated 30-days from the date of that notice. 

Permanent Disability - If by reason of permanent disability, the member is unable to train, s/he has the right to terminate his/her contract by providing 30-days written notice of cancellation in addition to written verification of the permanent disability from a qualified physician to Once that information is provided, the membership will be terminated 30-days from the date of that notice.
